New services, covid updates and virtual offerings!

I hope everyone has been staying extra safe over the past 2 months. It has been an interesting time to say the least, but I wanted you to let you know that I have been thinking of each and every one of you. There have been many changes surrounding the rules about social distancing, PPE, and safe ways to begin to open places back up again. I have been following things closely so that I am well informed in making the best decisions for my business and the community I am missing so much. Over the past few months I've been able to take some time to reflect on what I am looking to share as a therapist and overall lover of movement. As you may have noticed, I have been so excited to offer a few new virtual offerings including therapeutic mobility classes and private 1:1 sessions! It has been SO amazing to have a space to maintain contact with existing clients and to also make some amazing new connections. As I continue to evolve with Conscious Yoga + Wellness, I will look to streamline my offerings to provide the most cohesive and holistic care for my clients. 

NEW OFFERING- Virtual functional mobility sessions:

These sessions provide an opportunity to develop insight into your body and learn techniques to build connections within your physical body.

The techniques will focus on:

  • functional mobility to improve the available, pain-free, range of motion within your joints

  • strengthening exercises catered to the specific needs of your body

  • diaphragmatic breathing exercises to bring new insight into the breath, to activate the front body to provide stability to the spine, and to decrease symptoms of low back pain.I truly feel when we begin to connect to our physical and energetic body, we can begin to communicate with our truest and deepest self. 

You can expect:

  1. Virtual whole body assessment of joint mobility, compensatory patterns, and areas of concern.

  2. Discussion of your goals.

  3. Detailed home program to utilize outside of the session, sent to your inbox within 48 hours.

  4. Support from me, your biggest cheerleader, along the way!I'd love to work together to create a home routine that will support you in resolving pain, decreasing discomfort, and create space for tuning into how you move your body better.

ADDITIONAL NEWS: 

I am planning to open back up for in-person sessions on June 15th (if you have an appointment scheduled before then, I will be in contact). At this time I am still gathering the necessary equipment to sanitize and create a safe space for my clients.

At that time I will be offering a limited schedule for the following services:

  • 60-minute craniosacral sessions

  • 75-minute RESOLVE therapeutic functional mobility assessment (first session)

  • 60-minute RESOLVE therapeutic functional mobility follow up sessions

Here are some of the guidelines for in-person sessions:

  1. I will only be booking 2-3 clients a day (depending on the day) to allow time for cleaning and sanitizing between clients.  

  2. I will ask each client to wait in their car prior to their session and text me so I can let you into the building.

  3. I will ask each client to wear a mask as I will be wearing one for each session as well. 

  4. If you have been ill, under the weather, sneezy, have the coughs, or have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, please cancel your session and quarantine 14 days prior to re-booking. 

  5. I will be taking temperatures with a non-contact thermometer.

  6. I will ask you to take your shoes off in the downstairs foyer and will ask each client to hand wash or sanitize prior to entering the room.
