Mala, mantra, meditation

  • Whetsone Park of Roses 3901 North High Street Columbus, OH, 43214 United States (map)

Meditation can seem like a challenging thing to start. We hear how meditation can help with stress and anxiety but we may be telling ourselves, "I just can't sit still that long". An easy way to start a meditation practice is with the use of a Mala and creating a mantra.

During this workshop we will discuss a brief history of the Mala and how to create a mantra that inspires positivity in your life. Next we will move through a short visualization :: body scan practice where you will take time to set an intention and develop your mantra. The last hour of our workshop will be utilized to create a Mala, a string of 108 beads from The Wild Sage Collective, which will assist us in connecting more deeply to our truest self. If you are interested, we will save some time at the end to do a short walking meditation together while connecting to the earth.

am so excited to share this workshop with you, taking time together to connect to the ground and our breath! Please send a direct message my way if you have questions! We will plan to meet in the parking lot by the Park of Roses and use a shaded piece of earth to hold our workshop.

More details:
The Mala we will be making is Earth and Oat with a gold accent (I will post a picture soon!).
